This AA seperation comes from Kamunyaka, a washing station within the Iria-Ini Farmers Cooperative Society in Kenya’s central highlands. Sitting around 1,700 meters above sea level and serving a community of smallholder producers, Kamunyaka is part of a broader effort within Iria-Ini to revitalize its stations through careful processing, experimentation, and a renewed focus on cup quality.

Producer Spotlight
Fredy grew up producing coffee alongside his father before purchasing his own parcel in 2008. Today, he farms with his wife, Glenis, near Caona, San Andrés, at elevations reaching around 1,800 meters. His coffees are rooted in traditional varieties and careful washed processing, with an emphasis on clean fermentation, slow drying, and consistency rather than overly complicated processing techniques.
